The Gourmand Issue 09
The idea for this award-winning biannual food and culture journal started with a dinner party hosted by editors-in-chief Marina Tweed and Dave Lane. Food provided the backdrop for many debate and discussion among all their creative guests. Gourmand isn't about gourmet – it's for anyone who enjoys knowing more about all types of food and how it connects to the world around us.
In Issue 9 they speak to Nancy Silverton, award winning chef and recipe writer, they consider booze on planes, snails, see how Georgia O'Keeffe made her home and garden in New Mexico, focus on breakfast, indulge in Wayne Thiebaud's food art and, of course, interview the Cookie Monster. And then there are also recipes to go with the themes explored in the magazine!
