Hestra

In 1936 Martin Magnusson and his family settled in the timber forests in the Swedish province of Smaland. He began making gloves for local lumberjacks. In 1937 a ski slope was created nearby and Magnusson, a natural pragmatist, began making gloves for local skiers. The company is still run by the third generation of the same family and is still making gloves. Hestra now make performance gloves for the Swedish ski team, elite mountaineers, competitive kayakers, hard core survival experts and the construction industry. At The Hambledon we're concentrating on more gentle pursuits. Check out the classic Deerskin with Primaloft or lambskin lining and the moose leather Utsjo. Perfect for cold days at the farmers' market.

Hestra A/W'17 will be available in our Winchester store soon.
